HSLlogoTest2small.gifFormed over 20 years ago, Hastingwood Securities Ltd. is primarily a Property Development, Investment and Management Company with substantial interests in the Industrial and Commercial sectors.  The Company is privately held.

With a wealth of experience in property related activities such as residential and industrial development, hotels, timeshares and construction, Hastingwood currently focuses on two core businesses: Industrial Business Parks and Managed Business Centres.

In both these businesses, Hastingwood tries to be different – and we think we succeed.

A focus of the Development arm has been the refurbishment and conversion of derelict factory space into multiple occupancy Trading Estates or Business Parks.

Hastingwood has over 500 tenants occupying over 800,000 sf.  There are 3 Management Offices, 2 in London and one in Birmingham, and we employ our own Maintenance  and Security staff.

The Hastingwood DataCentre is housed within the Docklands Business Centre (DBC) - the largest Business Centre in the Isle of Dogs,  if not the whole of London. It is located on the edge of the Canary Wharf development and as such is able to offer a high standard of comfort and convenience at very reasonable prices.

The DBC buildings are modern and feature raised floors, suspended ceilings, comfort cooling and individually controlled central heating systems. All offices have natural light and opening windows and benefit from multiple lifts and ample toilet provisions.  Working space tends to be much more generous than that sold as “workstations” in competitive operations.

DBC employs a large state of the art telephone switch which provides digital, analogue and ISDN lines as required. The buildings are wired with Cat5 structured cabling and a range of Internet connectivity options are available to tenants of up to 10Mbps or beyond.  As might be expected, there is a considerable overlap between the DBC tenants and the Data Centre with some Data Centre clients finding it convenient to rent an office on site, and some IT sensitive tenants enjoying the ultimate in support and accountability from both their Landlord and their ISP.
